Conference!

Last weekend, the Whitman Men and Women had their annual day of "Drag Races."  Each year, the weekend before the NWC Championships, our men and women put on their best drag-producing clothes and go for a swim.  The idea is to do some fast swimming with clothes on for a little power workout going into this weekend.  Of course, any occasion to dress up is an occasion to do something wacky--and, naturally, to use every definition of drag...
As per tradition, the first twenty minutes of practice was reserved for those members of our team who were daring and organized enough to put together a dance routine.  This year's hands-down winners were the crew of five of our freshman boys who went all out with their boy-band theme.  Click here to watch of video of their performance!

As much fun as Drag Races is, we are all 100% focused on the coming weekend.  Six months of training, the first Men's Team undefeated NWC dual meet record in Whitman history, and two school records already broken, this weekend is sure to be epic and extraordinarily fast.  For everything you need to know about the meet, including live video and live stats, check out the 2013 NWC Championships Page

Below are some pictures from last weekend's practice.
